Dr. Louise Mandeville is a US- and UK-licensed veterinarian with 15 years of experience in both emergency and general practice. She completed her veterinary training in Europe and has practiced medicine across Europe, England, and the United States, bringing a broad, thoughtful perspective to patient care. She also completed a competitive rotating internship at the University of Bristol, England.
She brings advanced training in diagnostic imaging, including ultrasound, and is CAETA-accredited in companion animal euthanasia, reflecting her commitment to compassionate, fear-free care throughout every stage of a pet’s life. Known for being calm, clear-headed, and steady in an emergency, Dr. Mandeville blends ER-level clinical skill with a warm, family-oriented approach that puts pets and their people at ease. She’s passionate about clear communication, gentle handling, and creating a neighborhood clinic where families feel genuinely supported rather than rushed. As a mom to three girls and a long-term La Jolla resident, she feels especially passionate about making the clinic a welcoming place for pets, parents, and children alike.
